One of our trusted rescuers has been assessing dogs from a new private shelter and when she saw Kostakis he really stood out to her because while every other dog was barking with excitement at seeing a visitor he sat patiently and waited his turn for a pat and a treat. Around five years’ of age, this boy was found abandoned over three years’ ago and has been at this shelter ever since. A gentle and friendly dog, when taken for a walk he was curious about what a leash was but had no fear at all just enjoyed his turn to go out and about a little. Friendly with other dogs and not a particularly high energy boy, Kostakis is a medium sized dog weighing in at around 20kgs and measuring 55cms to the top of his head. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated and looking forward to finding a home in the UK.
