If you’re looking for the sweetest natured dog who loves everybody then Mickey is your dog! During the Athens wildfires in July 2021 hundreds of dogs perished and were injured as the fires swept so fiercely. Mickey was found cowering from the smoke and was luckily transported to a camp where volunteers were waiting to treat the injured. We do not know whether Mickey was a stray or an ‘owned’ dog as he wasn’t microchipped but since then he has proved himself to be a wonderful boy, full of love and wanting human companionship of all ages. Friendly with dogs too so he would be an ideal companion for a family OR a single person, in fact he is an ideal all-rounder, loving car rides, walking well on the leash and also house trained.
He is currently in a foster home in Epsom in Surrey and needs his own forever home. Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, he is ready for immediate homing. Mickey weighs in at 20 kgs and measures 58cms to the top of his head. We think he is around 7/8 years’ old and would make a great companion for anyone looking for an affectionate dog.
