There are hundreds of thousands of stray animals in Greece and they all deserve a loving home. Unfortunately we can only bring over a small number due to the expenses involved.
All GAR cats are microchipped, vaccinated and sterilised (except kittens that are too young to be sterilised) and ‘prepared’ for entering the UK according to DEFRA requirements. In addition, they are blood-tested for tick-borne and other diseases. These tests are not required under the PETS travel scheme, but we feel they are important to ensure that adopted cats are healthy.
All potential adopters must first be home-checked before one of our cats moves in, and you will be visited by a volunteer from your area who will carry this check out and be able to answer any questions you have.
We do not generally advertise cats for adoption but if you are interested, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to find one from the thousands of street cats that are in the care of trusted animal welfare volunteers.
